Houston, Texas – [March 26, 2025] – S&B, a leading engineering, procurement and construction firm, came together once again to positively impact the community through its S&B Serves initiative. S&B employee volunteers dedicated their time to support local organizations and give back to the community.
Throughout February and March, S&B employees participated in various volunteer events in Houston, Texas and across Louisiana. As a sponsor of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ (Rodeo), S&B volunteers joined together to participate in the Random Acts of Kindness event on Saturday, March 15. More than 50 S&B employees participated in the event, helping capture photos for Rodeo attendees and their family.
Team members from S&B’s Baton Rouge and West Monroe offices teamed up with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana, contributing their time and support locally. During the volunteer events, employees partnered with both organizations to sort and distribute food to families in need.
“We are extremely proud of the volunteer work of our employees and their generous and giving spirit,” said Jeff Sipes, S&B’s CEO. “Doing the right thing, and serving others, is an important aspect of S&B’s culture and demonstrates our employees’ commitment to live our core values every day.”
Launched in 2024, the S&B Serves program continues to foster a culture of community engagement by supporting local organizations and providing employees with volunteer opportunities. The company remains committed to strengthening communities through action and giving back in a meaningful way.
