Project Details
S&B delivered FEL, EPC and Fabrication for a greenfield ethane export terminal with an aggregate loading rate of ~10,000 barrels an hour, the largest in the US at the time of construction. The project included a demethanizer column, refrigeration facilities, ethane loading facilities for two docks, a boil-off gas (BOG) system and associated utilities and infrastructure.
This is one of only three major ethane export terminals in the US. S&B has played a leading role in all three terminals, including full EPC for two and EP for the third.
