Project Details
S&B performed FEL and EPC for two grassroots NGL fractionation plants with a combined capacity of 300,000 BPD, plus a utilities island shared by both plants. Based on our proven plant design, this project quadrupled the fractionation capacity of the complex and established Sweeny as the third largest NGL fractionation hub in the USA.
Despite major challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic and multiple severe weather events, S&B delivered this project two months ahead of schedule with one of the best safety records in the industry.
